About Scott

Scott Lander was born and raised in Kingman, Arizona.  He started playing golf at the age of six at Kingman’s local golf course called Cerbat Cliffs. Since his father owned a roofing company, he gave Scott a choice to either be a roofer or practice golf.  Scott easily chose the second option and played golf all the way through high school. He won the Arizona State High School Championship twice and received a scholarship to the University of Nevada Las Vegas for golf and academics. While in college Scott had the honor of winning the 1998  Division 1 NCAA National Championships as a team.  His team also got to play golf with President Clinton in Washington DC that same year as a honor for winning the NCAA Championships. To this day many of his teammates are now on the PGA Tour and have very successful golfing careers.

Scott married his wife Jamie in 2000 and graduated from UNLV in 2001 with a degree in Communications. Two years later, Scott and Jamie had their first child, Brooke, in February 2003. After playing professional golf for five years, Scott hadn’t made it to the PGA tour, so he decided to take another direction. Real estate had always interested Scott, so he decided to invest in some property with his dad in Kingman. As Scott began to invest more he became more interested in the business and wanted to begin selling real estate for a living. He acquired his real estate license in 2005 and began working for Remax Prestige Properties. In December on 2012 he moved to Keller Williams Arizona Living Realty, where he currently works. Scott and his wife Jamie then had three more children, Jacob in February 2006, Hudson in May 2010, and Levi in June 2012.

Scott has a strong construction background. His dad has owned A-2-Z Roofing in Kingman for 35 years. Scott has strong roots in Kingman and is actually a self admitted 4th generation Kingmanite.  His goal at Keller Williams is to build a team of his own and also help City of Kingman to grow with quality not quantity.  He recently stated , “We have unlimited potential here with great water aquifers, climate, and location. I look forward to seeing the town grow and change.” Scott has worked hard throughout his life in golf, school, and construction.  He will continue to work hard in real estate to make his clients happy with good service and a friendly smile.
